Faith Development

Here are some of our offering for Faith Development and enrichment on Sundays

Sunday School
Classes for all ages begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, between our 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services.

For children and youth, we offer the following classes: Pre-kindergarten, kindergarten through 4th grade, middle school 5–8, high school 9–12. For our 5–6th graders, we also have Club Covenant, a group oriented towards discerning a call to baptism.

For adults we offer five classes: Genesis, led by Martha Fullerton; Pathfinders, Steve Roberts; Friendship, led by Tom Short; Faithkeepers, led by Walt Baughman; and Serendipity, led by Carl Kimbrell.

Nursery Care
Nursery care is offered from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sundays and during other special services during the church year.

Children's Church
Children's church is offered within the context of our 10:45 a.m. Young children, Pre–school through kindergarten attend worship with their parents and/or guardians, and are escorted to children's church following the children’s moment.

Faith Journey Sunday School
Our Faith Journey Sunday School for children in pre–kindergarten and children in kindergarten through 4th grade begins with greeting and sign in with the welcome team. We then move into devotions with the devotions team. Following devotions, the pre-kindergarten children are escorted to the pre-kindergarten class and the kindergarten through 4th graders are directed to Faith Odyssey Sunday School. In faith Odyssey Sunday School, Biblical themes are taught in an experiential modified rotation Sunday School September through May.

Children experience biblical stories and themes in a hands-on formational experience in small groups by age.

They prepare and taste the goodness of God in Vineyard Caf´, unleash and explore an artistic expression of their faith experience in Creation Station, unleash their physical and tactile experience of Christianity in Moved by the Spirit, and more. During Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and other holy days and holidays, we sometimes take a break from the rotational model for special programs and to celebrate together as a group. On one Sunday per month, children will experience a variety of special experiential classes and celebrations such as Ring Out! And Faithkeepers Walk the Talk. Ring Out is an experiential introduction to handbells hosted by the Handbell Ensemble. Faithkeepers Walk the Talk is where children collaborate with the Faithkeepers Class for an intergenerational formational experience, (a great group of mentors from our "grandparents" Sunday School Class) where they are empowered share their faith and life perspectives.
